The Winston Hotel’s utmost priority has always been our guests and team member's wellbeing.

Our hotel provides travellers with a safe haven during these difficult times - Our hotel's layout easily allows us to restrict the number of guests in each area. The Winston Hotel comprises of 30 large and airy guest rooms, public facilities are mostly outdoors and our in-house facilities including restaurant is open to hotel guests only. Whilst we are a boutique hotel, we have the luxury of space, making social distancing easier than at most establishments. Access to all of our rooms is through outdoor space (no lifts or closed areas).

We have remained proactive throughout the COVID-19 crisis and have followed the recommendations of the South African government, as well as global health organizations and have introduced the following measures;

• All staff and guests are to be screened on arrival, guests will be required to complete a questionnaire as well as have their temperature scanned. Should a guest or staff members temperature exceed 37.5c, access to the hotel will be denied and will be referred to a medical facility.
   
• Check in procedure; front desk and equipment entirely sanitised, payment to be made by card or eft only.
   
• Special attention has been placed to sanitize all guest rooms and public areas and facilities.
   
• Hand sanitizers in place at all public guest areas of the hotel.
   
• Linen and towels are washed at the hottest wash cycle. All linen is ironed on a hot setting.
   
• Our staff wear masks and adhere to the strictest hygiene protocols throughout
   
• Social distancing in place in all public areas.
   
• Staff training and daily updates on the latest guidelines provided by health authorities.
